They are not telling us...I hope it fixes the crashing I've been having lately....and yes mine is legit.

Installed the update earlier, dunno what it done though. Never had problems with it anyway

I'll have to see because mine always crashes when I try turn on the third oscillator when it's playing... works when my DAW is paused, but when the track is playing, if i press that button... crashes.

apparently fixed in cubase 5.1.1. - i use this, havent come across a crash but not used it a great deal.

i want even more wave shapes! come on NI, how about a pure saw?

Huh no saw? Use square/saw and turn wavetable over to saw side....

If you can reproduce this bug every time, report it -- otherwise it'll only get fixed if one of the developers happens to chance upon the same thing.

Mine ain't broke, so I ain't try'na fix it... Too many times I have updated things only for them to work worse than they did before

Thats what I'm saying. If NI is being tight lipped about something, they don't want to tell us something. I really do wish I knew what this was fixing.

That's not really true -- it's a minor version update, which generally means no new features, only minor bug fixes. There's absolutely no point in "hiding" anything new; if development time and resources have been spent on something marketable then it's worth marketing. If it's just bug fixes, it's just bug fixes.

Some companies (eg Ableton) release detailed accounts of which minor issues have been fixed, others only notify the people who reported the bug, others tell anyone anything - AFAIK, Native falls into the second camp. It's hardly a conspiracy theory.

If they want me to install new software, they should tell me what it does.
