Is it just me or are people doing this more and more these days? I'm so sick of getting emails and notifications through from people I don't know on Soundcloud sending me their freaking song... I mean, if I wanted to listen to it, and by proxy if it was worth listening to, I would've already done it already ¬_¬

Seriously need to implement a setting whereby you can choose not to get private tracks from people you don't know... [/rant]

I don't mind them if there only shared to like 30 people. Instead of 5,662 thats just stupid and I never listen

Starting to do my nut in...My emails are just full of this shit.

I think the worst part is, there's an option in the Soundcloud settings to not receive the e-mails from people you don't know (which makes it slightly better) but there's no button to save your preferences or whatever and so you can't actually implement it

Switch to another tab/window, or look away or turn off your monitor, you dont HAVE to look at it, while listening...

isnt there an email settings option in soundcloud, to filter out your alerts?

Yeah getting this a lot at the minute needs locking down before soundcloud becomes just another spamfest, private tracks to people you know/DJ's/labels thats what that function should be for not.

Yeah just checked on this, if you untick the 'rightaway' or 'digest' then retick which one you want you get a pop up after you change the drop down saying its saved it.

It doesn't annoy me as much because I never really got into just browsing soundcloud, I will usually check out clouds when someone sends me a link or I see the link on facebook or something but I am not sure what people are trying to accomplish by sharing it with everyone? I guess to see how many comments they can get but as a label I am not sure if I want to sign a track that is been shared to a couple 1000 people.

You have to be following some people for that to happen.

I am following people, but probably only about 10...maybe that makes the difference?
