Anyone know of any "trancey" dusbtep remixes, so dubstep remixes of classic trance songs?
Or anyone know of any producers who produce ambient, trippy, trancey dubstep?
Feeling it myself, anyone else?

Scuba and Headhunter don't remind me of trance at all. More techno vibe imo.
This one on my label is pretty trancey
Soundcloud
Some of RSK's stuff is trancish as well.

Soundcloud
I think the vocoded (?) vocals are a bit cheesy but this is a nice track. Very nice in fact.

if you mean trance like eyeq or harthouse records then fair enough but the ministry of sound cream commercial bile that you hear out of every chavs window is about as far away from the vibes of dubstep as you can get
dubstep - space darkness syncopation
trance - totally full mix chirpy cheap cheap attitude and the dullest 4x4 with sidechain umpa bass
Its not right dont do it!

The two things I hate the most right now about music.
1. Shit producers trying to remix classic songs. Just becuase it is a big tune does not mean it will sound good with you messing around with it. If the original track is a banger, leave it alone and stop being so arrogant to think you can do a remix me of it unless the original artist has come to you and asked you directly.
2. Failed trance bedroom producers jumping on the bandwagon to make Dubstep and end up making terrible Trance with a snare on the 3rd.
If I hear anymore Trance chord progressions with Trance pads I am going to kill someone.
Before you start telling me to stop hating Trance, I dont. In fact I still buy and collect oldskool Trance, when it was good. Dubstep is not about this fluffy shit I keep hearing!

It is.
I keep hearing kids playing some of the worst Trance made in the last 10 years driving around in Croydon! it has some generic wobble in the background. It sounds like it has been lifting from another track entirely!
The music is seriously fucked right now
No wonder people like Loefah have fucked it off:(

However, I don't think experimentation is arrogance. That I disagree with. No beginner producer in their right mind or even decent-ish producer in their right mind would proclaim that their remix is better than the original, but dubstep remixes are always going to be around and tracks are their for the remix taking. It becomes a habit eventually, remixing, I'm a bit addficted to it now, cos I started off doing it for fun/curiousity. It's not a bad thing though I don't think.

I agree, I realise that but when I made my first remix I hadn't even listened to much dubstep remixes, did it because I thought it'd be an interesting hybrid.
