Now Zomby's rehashing stuff from a couple of years ago. Not like parring him or nothing, just guy needs to so something new. So does Joker, Joker just uses that same sound palette over and over again and calls it a day.

serious, guy makes UKF, tropic house, dubstep, jungle, hardcore, 2step and i don't know what you call it... it;s easy to hear a tiny portion of the zomby sound and think that's all there is. as for his recent jungle stuff being from "a couple years ago", i would strongly disagree! his recent tunes, she loves me & she loves me not remind me of 94-96 jungle, before it became that nasty ball of sameness called Dnb. His recent work with actress is on a totally different tip, woozy and warm... zomby's got crazy diversity, people just love his bleepy shit the most, so that's what most people hear. tunes like, ghost of girlfriends past, velodron, spiralz, mercury's rainbow, tears in the rain, test me for a reason, no, the abyss gazes back, rumors and revelations, expert tuition and mu5h are all on different tips, just wait till you hear what's

Agree with what most people are saying, even the Zomby vs Burial collab because tbh Burial needs sounds like Zomby's in his music because Burial lacks percussion and melodies but has got the beats bang on. Most of Joker's tunes do have that 'purple' sound which Zomby also uses in some tracks but if you listen to his Where Were You In '92 EP then you will see its not all about the 'beepy' stuff like Spliff Dub, One foot... EP etc. But I reckon if both Joker and Zomby freshen their minds and think as a pair they could make some unbelievable tunes, slightly worried their ideas might conflict because of similarity hmmmmmmmmmm watch this space

Exactly so 12th planet wud be same problem. i only thought of datsik cos i think hes better than the other similar US producers: excision, ultrablack, downlink, 12th
