Commix remix will be just after summer for SURE. It's part of a whole remix album featuring pangaea, a made up sound, dbridge, instra:mental and a fair few more. From what i've heard it should be worth the wait.

These 35 seconds and True Love VIP are what truly inspired me to start making music, and that was also when the realization of just how talented Burial is really hit me. Even the shit he chooses not to release is mindblowing, if not better than the stuff on the records.

yeah DJ Kicks is not happening now but Kode9 is doing one instead...

i read that Massive Attack have said there is no time scale/deadline for his remix album...they just want him to do it so have put no pressure on and have just said whenever it is ready then cool...haha...

yeah the Commix remix is coming in the next few months as part of the 'Re:Call To Mind' LP...

Fostercare is utterly spellbinding...

oh and yeah Feral Witchchild is amazing and i would love to see it released...

True Love VIP was so awesome, Fearl Witchchild is aswell. I once read that some songs remain unreleased and unnamed in mixes cos he always like those tunes you hear in the middle of the night, that give you chills and make you happy but you'll never figure out what it is and they remain some sort of mystery you'll always be thinking of.

i NEED a new album its bin like what 3 years now. i dont wana even think about this incase i jinx it, but i can see him never releasing anouther album. cuz the hype is soooo large now that i dont think hed wana do sumthin to kill his rep. but to be fair he cud never put out anything else ever and hed still be the best producer, if not general artist ever

I think if he would stop releasing albums it wouldn't be becaus he's afraid of loosing his reputation, but more because he doesn't feel comfortable with all the hype and pressure coming towards him. In the end he just wants to make tunes he says, I believe that. And he can continue that in 'his world', in his scene, just for him and what he wants.

yeh thats true, i ment that hed be afraid to dissapoint, due to being under such pressure to produce an even better album.

you know what i might just have to find out where kode 9 lives, break in and just jam, refuse to move til he tells me if and WHEN a new albums coming...

i just wanna know what happened to lambeth - that tune has been haunting me for about a year now..

That 35 second clip has been my wake up alarm now for almost the past year. Burial in my eyes can do no wrong.

The Burial remix LP was never a project...Daddy G just said he thought it would be mad, not that it was actually happening, and the rumour has spread like wildfire....
