featuring HEADHUNTER aka ADDISON GROOVE (tempa, swamp81) + SEPALCURE (hotflush) + SPATIAL (infrasonics)

The mighty Headhunter makes his return to Dub War. A Bristolian
veteran of the dubstep scene, he has consistently proven himself to be
a pioneer of meticulously crafted bass anthems. After dropping
numerous 12"s, remixing Modeselektor and a putting out full-length
album on the foundational Tempa label, 2010 has seen him rocking the
world with his ghetto-juke bass mutations like the infectious
"Footcrab" anthem under his new Addison Groove alias.

Dub War also welcomes a live set from the Brooklyn-based duo
Sepalcure, just signed to the Hotflush label. A collaboration between
Machinedrum (LuckyMe) and Praveen Sharma (Percussion Lab), their
shared love for bass and 90s house acapellas has culminated in a
unique strain of dubstep soul.

For added pleasure, Spatial of the outstanding Infrasonics label has
been added to the lineup. His music treads the line between techno and
garage, with wild moments of low-end experimentation reminscent of
Dorian Concept and Shed. His label Infrasonics has been one to watch
for the past year, and has released next-level music by Hot City,
XXXY, Ike Release, and his own work.

aw man, headhunter is TOO MUCH. its such a shame that these are the shows that are 21+, all the new young kids are exposed to the completely opposite spectrum of the music.

I know there's a crew from New Paltz that makes the trip each month. If that doesnt work, you can always catch a train from Poughkeepsie to New York (Penn Station) for < $50.

off peak round trip train ticket from poughkeepsie to grand central is $29, peak hours its $39. although im not sure how close poughkeepsie is to staatsberg. actually i've never even heard of staatsberg... but yeah here ya go http://www.mta.info/mnr/

THANKS FOR THE INFO!!! We will def look into it. We fly out of La Guardia at 10am the next morning so might be nice to be closer to that...all night adventure hmm.

Looks like Staatsburg is only 12 miles north of Poughkeepsie...

mta has been steadily hiking fares for several years now. even from where i am in westchester its 16.50 round trip to nyc. ouch
