How filthy can Reason get?

So after finding out that the filth Cookie Monsta is spewing is rinsed out in Reason it gives me hope that MASSIVE, FL, and VST is not the only alternative. I guess the answer i seek is without emulating the same tech as Monsta or any other, what is the best way to RINSE the bass to stand out without using plugins via Malstrom, Subtractor, Thor.
Thanks in advance the tutorials are just not enough feedback from the Propella headz would be great.

You guys are the least helpful motherfuckers ever. There is a sentiment that is going around lately that I happen to agree with. Instead of being a smart ass, who don't you answer the kid? The other alternative is to just disable the posting of new threads because I highly doubt there is a question that hasn't been asked in here.

Anyway bro you aren't going to like my answer but you just have to play with that shit until you can satisfy yourself with the results. If you want people to lead you by the hand you will never stand out you will just sound like the people who's advice you have taken. That is the real here.

Now listen to bro #1 do his thang in Reason

Reason can be as filthy as you want it to be... all my side project (brimstone) tunes are mashed in Reason...

so i guess the answer to your question is... kinda?

gonna sound different than most who use massive, either way.
just mush saw/squares through Thor's formant (or comb filter) and scream4 it and you'll be YAR wub YEEOORWing in no time

just do your thing, and dont ask for advice here, make some tunes and put them in the finished tracks / WIP threads at the top and you'll probably get more help and less flame

Ok I have only a basic idea of how reason's synths work but liek any synth, to get those filthy heinous sounds it comes down to a couple of main points. Filter saturation, envelopes, eqing, Distortion, bitcrushing with downsampling, Reverbs, Flangers, PHasers.... Whatever else. I have heard the shit that thor synth can use and I know that reason can get dirty, if thats what your all about.

JUST FOR THE EDIT, since you obviously do not know a lot about synthesis yet, I suggest you do not use all of those effects on one sound, would sound like dick. Be creative and find out what combos work. Jsutl ike seasoning a steak man.

oh, and one more thing... for future reference... putting the word "filthy" in a thread headline, or using youtube comment-esque phrases, is the dubstepforum equivalent of smearing chum all over yourself and diving into a shark tank, or calling Kimbo Slice a n¡gger.... just a heads up

Joseph Fritzl's reason was pretty filthy.

If you're after pure filth though, shit in a rapist's mouth until he spits turd allover your computer. Then rub it in with your cock, balls and face. Finally get an alsation to lick the arse gravy off everything. Reason would be the last thought in your mind, Logic would be out the window but at least you'd feel aLive.

Are you really getting the rawr/yar type sound with this? I've been trying to figure out how to get that R constonant sound or anything other than yoh, yah, yit...that I gey with a normal bit crushed wobble.
Does this depend more on the formant in thor being used, more than anything else? Any tips appreciated!

I also have massive and wow filter but can't get the rawr with that yet either...

Thx

The tune in my sig was made on Reason, guess its pretty 'filthy'. If you know how to use it properly you can make any style you want with it.

Sounds like Massive. Is that done using Thor and a filter?
