okay, i love Hyperdub. i also love warrior queen. so naturally i jumped with joy and had my pointer over the "buy" button online.. but then i listened to the track:



what do you think? can any of you guys get into this track? has glimmers of hope, but i couldnt even listen to it all the way through... honestly i've heard better tunes in the Finished tracks for feedback section, in my opinion... am i crazy?

eh, its not QUITE as bad as i was expecting. but it certainly doesnt sem like a strong enough track for release. maybe if there was a Pt1 and Pt2. it seems like theyre trying to go too many directions in one song and not fully commiting to any one thing. sorta.

yeh, good point, i guess Hyperdub can never be cringe-bad.... i guess its just that my expectations from HD are too high... dunno, guess i got too excited when i saw Warrior Queen, i was expecting another Poison Dart... d'oh

okay, i missed the boat on that one.

i was under the impression that this was a current release, not 2005 , so i'll go ahead and call myself an idiot on this one, for misreading release dates. thank you yong for clarifying, im glad this thread served its purpose in explaining why i couldnt wrap my head around this tune. i have +100 respect for you.

i respect Kode9 as a forefather, but considering his tunes, i'm not sure why he would sign off on that one,

but i guess given the year, i can see why that sound would be awesome, if i heard that song in 2005 i'd have a completely different reaction. but i havent encountered anyone who lists pressure as their favorite producer. i feel like a jerk, i wont be making any more "hater" threads until im sure im not gonna make a fool out of myself
