Looking Sound Presents LIVE VISUAL AUDIO

LIVE VISUAL AUDIO is a day and night event that will change the way you look at sound and images and how they relate to each other. Looking Sound will present unique LIVE performances and digital installations that define the future of Visual Audio creativity and experience.

Day Event - 13:00 - 16:00
ROOM ONE: 6 LIVE artists listen to a Looking Sound audio mix composed by 4 different audio producers and interpret this onto canvas LIVE. These canvases will be shown again during the private view at 21:00 in the evening.
ROOM TWO: An interactive Multi-projection installation will display digital animations composed exclusively by 12 visual artists in response to the Looking sound audio mix. Audience members can contribute to the mix the LIVE artists are interpreting by triggering Visual Audio samples from a midi station set up within room 2.
Private View: 21:00
The Artwork created during the day will be exhibited alongside a digital animation based on the LIVE drawing performances.
This will be played alongside the musical mix that inspired the artwork during the day event.
Evening Event - 22:00 - 03:00
In the style of the monthly Looking Sound 3D_BEATS events held at Riki Tiks the evening event uses the multi-projection installation rig as the basis for a dance floor centred Visual Audio experience. Featuring Visual Audio acts and DJ VJ combinations - the line up is as follows:
10-11pm – FADE IN FADE OUT – LIVE AV set
