AppleDrink forum had theirs, Knowledge magazine had theirs.

What are those classic dubstep cliches? Here's a few to get us started:

Brostep - Slowed down drum and bass really. Term gets rinsed online, but I heard people referring to this in real life now, made me giggle and them come over al contemplative.

Referring to Dubstep as 'Dub' or 'the Dub' - I guess a lot of people, youngers, won't realise there's already a much larger and popular genre of music called Dub. Still cracks me up when I see people using this term.

Wonky - Genre name still cracks me up. No one used it anymore though right?

Intelligent - How many times does this pretentious cliche have to rear it's ugly head. It's music, it doesn't denote IQ/intelligence.

Gunfingers / shouting brap / shouting breeeeee - Can't lie, I've blatantly done this in my time. All about middle class kids who've only seen lengs in the Bill, popping off shots at the dance. Shower.

Mt. Eden - LOL, I don't think this guy really exists, or at least it's Doorly.

____ is ruining Dubstep - I'm sure I COULD argue, nothing can be ruining Dubstep, because it got ruined a long time ago. I COULD. But I wouldn't because that would be as cliche as this argument.

Everyone I have seen or heard use the term 'rave' are far too young to know what a rave is or even remember them.

Over the top skanking - like you're trying to actually shake your head off of your body.

People with the word dubstep in their artist name.

EDIT: Oh and of course always spelling with a K instead of a C. Mortal Kombat anyone?

Oh and of course stencil grafitti font and speaker boxes as logo. And for some reason gasmasks.
