Abandoned him long ago.

OMG was absolute shite. With the exception of one track.

Rusko hasn't produced anything worthwhile for 2 or 3 years. End of story.

What will come of it?, will dubstep gigs keep it's diverse following of people? Will they be replaced with stupid haircuts, brainless girls pestering the dj for the same rass track you played 20 mins ago and 5 times last week because "they can dance to that one" ? and tracks feat. Elton John?

I think this was inevitable for dubstep to break the surface, but shitney bears? I wonder what went though ruskos head at the point of signing? (apart from the S"%t load of wonga)

I for one hope that it can have its moment in the limelight and keep its undergound alive. Dnb did it, hip hop does it (in a manner). Dubstep deserves some injection of cash... but will it spend it all on gak, courfull hoodies, oversize shades and ladies of the night? or will it take the money, give a finger to the man and ride off into the sunset?

I'm not bothered by him doing that, but his perception of what Dubstep is disappoints me, fundamentally.

To be honest, as we've seen this discussed a million times over, events with good music will still attract the same crowd as before and the 'underground' sounds and other styles we like, will still get produced and events will still go on.

All this will do is open it up to a bigger market, ultimately giving more exposure to everyone, and yes, we'll obviously get a lot of "new to scene" people, as you said requesting shit tunes at events ect... but that's not to different to events now.

I heard Burial's producing for Lady GaGa.

Apparently he had this to say:

I hope your right dude... some geezers already going "emo" about this on the net and it would be nice not for every gig to be a complete sausagefest.

pendulum blowing up didn't ruin dnb, photek doing film and commercial shit didn't either
chase and status making beats for rhianna killed the scene obviously
