I haven't heard this yet.
You know they were just in NYC on May 7th when we both had gigs (the same night grrrrrrrrrr)?
Also, a quick note for the Ableton nerds, they just Facebook posted about their issues w/ Live 8
Gonna see if we have a promo of this at work.

^ trust, i know. we've booked 'em 3 times in NYC and we both were like.... "whoops!" From what I saw and heard, we all had good nights tho.
Really impressed by how much these guys have accomplished in the few short years it's been a band. Extremely smart music, well done, and those of you into market research-- their growth has been astronomical.
Also, AFAIK unless you buy it at a show, the records digital only.

Glitch Mob is absolutely incredible. Their attention to detail is mind numbing.

booked them and seen them around the northern california SF area more than a few times. they are fun and genius in the studio, but they are basically milli vanilli live....press play and dance around like a boy band and maybe hit a few drum hits on their lemurs or mpds. Really blows kids minds who haven't grown up around people doing real live pa(s)
...i think that is partially why there are only 3 now.

Possibly due to Ableton as mentioned above, and poss having to rely on backups; big post on faceslag about it, with other big names in techno, saying they have had to rely on premixed backups as the live set died a death. Ableton 8 is well sketchy, to the point that the MDs have put up a public apology. They have stopped all development on new bits to get the stability sorted.

Yeah man...album, i'm sure will be great, a lot of the tracks were on the Low End Theory podcast they did, although i wasn't keen on "Drive like you stole it"
U.K heads, keep your eyes peeled for July

and yeah album is out 25th May.
As far as the Ableton ish go's...man have you seen what they are running into Live?? Thats one processor heavy set up...they posted a pic on FB a while back, so have a scan.

thanks for bringing this up dave. i am completely uninterested in "glitch-hop". save for a few artists i seriously couldnt care less about it. but.... i thought certified air raid material was a classic album. and drive it like you stole it is really really really good. if thats any indication, id like to hear the rest of the album. these dudes made it.

Yeah, it is pretty sketchy, that's why I'm scared to update to the latest version
I used to use it for sets on my mates for back to back sets with him. And it crashed only when I was playing. Pretty strange and annoying. Glad we changed the laptop back to mine.
But I just smile, reset and continue.
