Hitting them etc isn't going to do much. Chances are they'll come back at you at a later date with a bunch of mates.

Depends, it's not like you have a fight, someone loses and it's settled. Ends up going on and on. You either completely mash them up or don't bother.

Plus once you start getting your mates involved, what hapens when one of them is on their own and a bunch of these others see them?

Definately depends on the terms though... I remember a bird I was shagging at uni only to find out a few weeks later she had some nerdy little sackhead metal kid boyfriend who started threatening me.
