I understand only vaguely how to create this sound. I know this is probably one of the most simple things to ask but I searched and couldn't find a tutorial, or at least one that I could understand. I'm still learning the jargon. If someone could show me the way to a layman's tutorial or explain it to me, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

What programme do you use?
Heres one for reason, i guess you could translate it to any synth.
2 saw waves one slightly detuned from the other
that is the basic and basis
go to synth of schoice and do it and hit low notes
add some processing and modulation
good luck

For massive, just use 2 saw waves on the first and second OSC. Detune the first one to 0.30 and the second to -0.30. I usually use .30 just because I like movement you get with that amount. That's your basic reese sound. Then you can just mess with different parameters and see what you can do with it.
@ daft tnuc.. Thanks for all those tutorials! I will read them tonight.. Now its time to get out of the studio and into the park.. I can see all the nice ladies sun taning! lol
