hi guys , im new to reason ,(1 n a bit months)
it seems a really stupid question but how can you get vocals/wav files into reason?
been looking about on the net for a while and all i can see is people talking about recycle??
some saying that NN19 can open wav ? but it cant find my wav files when im looking for them
surely theres a way to just drag and drop vocals in ?
i feel like im missing something really obvious ?
would appreciate if anybody could give me a hand :)
cheers

You can't drag and drop wavs in, because Reason acts as a hardware emulator with a MIDI sequencer, not as a computer program (if that makes any sense).

So yeah, you need to bring them in using either the NN19 or the NNXT. It should be able to find the files, make sure you're using the sample browser and not the patch browser (both of the samplers have two different buttons to open files).

No problem, glad it worked out.

Like the other guy said, you can work directly with audio using Propellerhead Record...pretty sure you get a discount if you already own Reason.
