After about about a year of planning, production, logistics, and German>English: English>German translation, My sample library for the good folks at Mutekki Media is finally being liberated from my hard drives!!! It took ages and I've gotta say, I'm quite proud of it. Thought I'd share...

Mutekki Media introduces a new product series to the sample family. “Source” has been produced by Jeremy Goldstein (EVAC | Quadrant 5 Studios), who has worked as a professional electronic musician, composer & sound designer for over a decade, producing a wide spectrum of music for both major and independent record labels as well as extensive TV and multimedia projects. This versatile library showcases his diversity, incorporating a variety of genres and tempos, taken from countless sources and production techniques. While the main focus is on Electro, IDM, Ambient and more experimental facets of dance music, users will also find a substantial amount of content geared towards Techno, Drum & Bass and Hip-Hop.

These sounds were created with cross-pollination and interchangeability as a primary focus, in an attempt to transcend the conventions and restraints of traditional genre-based collections. In detail, “Source” offers a collection of over 1500 high quality samples, loops and one-shots as well as nearly 200 multi-format instruments. Notable highlights include pre-mapped bass, synth, pads, and atmospheres as well as the inclusion of 30 multi-kits, which incorporate atmosphere, bass, drums, FX and lead tones into one multi-sample instrument. These multi-kits allow users to open one instance of their preferred sampler and simply get to work, leaving only the limits of imagination to hold them back.

I think u misread me dawg. It is good to see sample collections that are not genre specific. I haven't heard these samples, but it is a good idea.

Yeah man, I actually pulled aside a small bundle to be zipped up for promo - not sure why they're not on the site yet. . .??

If Mutekki doesn't post them within a day or so, I'll be sure to upload them to my server so peeps can grab them direct!

I take back what I said!! I download the free samples of that pack and they're actually pretty fucking fat!! much better than them bullshit "dubstep" sample packs out of there!!

Wicked man! thank you for that. They moved the release date up on me by a week and I'm on vacation right now, but I plan to release a bundle of promo samples and demos that I did while making the library - so I'll get that stuff up and post a clip of the demos to soundcloud as soon as I get back to studio next week.

There are some really tasty bits in there - hope they included at least a couple in the free-bundle!

I'm trying to get them to push a remix competition. Allowing artists/producers to download a bundle of samples for free and write short pieces for an opportunity to win a copy of the library. . .Hopefully they're down for it! More on that soonish. . .

I've added a set to my soundcloud page as well that has some of my own demos on it showcasing the sounds. I'll be adding more in the next week or 2 (as time allows) - if anyone wants to hear specific parts or a specific style let me know and I'll see what i can do!

Haptic01-03 are posted and available for free DL now. Use em, share em, pass the links along, do your worst! Just trying to get the word out.

HAPTIC04 is a (murderous) 5-octave drumkit which will be released by http://twistedtools.com/ - within the next week or so. Also free! Probably the best Haptic to date. . .lots more of that ish on the way! Stay sharp!

- Remix of Logreybeam 'Premonition' for the Aspect of Mannerism Rem:Rem - ReRelease - which is shaping up to be wicked! remixes by EVAC, ilkae, Proem, b0t23, Proswell, Craque, and others

- Also the first Haptics release on the Haptic Audio imprint, which is going to be absolute FIRE!!! Still hush hush - but late summer/early fall release.

aside from that its lots of production work and sound design. Lots of goodness coming up on that front - more as it develops. . .

Threw up another demo showcasing some different sounds in the pack. Kind of a breaky dub thing @ 140/70 with a lot of chops, edits, and fx/bass punches along the way. . .

As for the Haptic Site design, that's all my partner Patrick Campbell - he's a fucking ninja with that shit. Not to mention his upcoming project (w/ Habersham) called Komposit is about to fucking shatter minds. Some serious talent coming out of that camp!
