Hey just checked out your track, it is nice and chilled out. Good use of synths and sound effects. I would use this track as the last song in my set to sort of wind things down. My only suggestion would be to have the volume of the synth a touch louder in the intro. I know you are probably trying to ease it in but it was a tad bit quiet for my liking. Otherwise I enjoyed it , good work, nice and chillin

@Plasticsun - Yes mate this is nice. I like the little pauses in the beat adds a lot of energy when the drums back in. Good work, I enjoyed it.

Any feedback to the tune in my sig appreciated :D

@PlasticSun
I'm really liking the spacious intro, some things there could be brought out in the mix more. If that's the same reese bass in the intro as in the drop, instead of lowering the volume for the intro, try highpassing it, you might get a sweet high end distorty quiet synth sound out of it.
Drums are sitting pretty low in the mix as well, could be brought out or compressed a small amount.
Also i kept waiting for a crazy rhythmic wobble pattern with your reese that never came.
use some resampling techniques (found in dubstep bible) to make it more dynamic and interesting. There's a LOT you could do with this track.

One more thing, there are a lot of kicks. are they all necessary? The more there are the less each one means and vice versa.

@Impey Great production skill here man, everything is hella clean.. I would've liked the bass so progress more into a deeper vibe. Can't say that's what you should do, I love it how it is brotha.
@Finji This really isn't my style, this is happy hardcore right? Maybe a bit more processing on the sounds, seems a bit to one dimensional... Good tune though, lovin' the melodies!

I think I may be a hypocrite for critiquing peoples production skills when mine are shite compared to theirs..
Let me know what you think..

I just want to put this out, I can't produce for shit. So I feel silly reviewing people's tunes, but hey, I've got ears!
:w:

-Plasticsun "singing sun"
Nice vibe in the intro, maybe boost the bass a smidge. Good drums, not boring, maybe a slight change up every 16 or so.
Really dig the chimes. Very chill/mellow. Good headphone music. Kept me with it for the 7 minutes.

-jone "hanging on"
When the kick comes in...BOOM! The sidechaining is a smidge heavy for my taste.
Maybe bringing up the threshold a bit could help? I really like the drums. Keeps you grooving. Nice 'n heady-noddy.
The vocal snippit is a bit repetitive to me, but its your tune. Nice little horn sample @3:16, wish there was more.
Good looking overall.

-Thierry le DJ "yes/no/maybe"
With the intro, I didn't expect the major bass in my face. Maybe let it ease in a bit before you smash my head with it?
I like when it relaxes a bit. (not that there is anything wrong with face smashing bass!) I feel like it needs to go
somewhere, like you are just about to take me there, and its all over.

-Impey "untitled'
Nice n spacey snare in the intro. I like how you let us know the bass is comin' at ya. Perparing us for a heavy track...
When it comes in, I'm ready for it.
Production is pretty top notch. Everything sits nicely. Diggin' the drop. Good tune, my friend. (I can call you
friend, yes? lol)

-Finji "This Life"
To be honest, I'm totally not into this kind of style. What you do, you do well though. Reminds me of the olden days
when the happy hardcore friends would freak out. Good production, for sure. I like the echoey vocal sample.
Makes me want to get my big pants and candy raver gear.

-Bassmagnet "Laynright"
The intro is a bit muddy, but once that's adjusted, it'll be sweet. Unless that's what you are going for. In that case,
I'll just shut up and listen. :) I like the choppy bits before it really kicks in. Your wobble seems a bit weak, maybe
boost that up some in volume. I like your use of vocals. I'm diggin the little bouncy drum sounds before your breakdown.
I really like when it comes back in, but again, hurt me with your wobble please. It's nice how you change it up each time
it comes back in. Keeps things from getting boring. Good stuff once it's all cleaned up.

First post, please don't hate me too much....

@Platicsun Really like the intro. The reese is a bit of a surprise but i like it. Everything seems good to me can't give any criticism that has not already been said. Nice work mate

@Impey Maybe eq or filter out the highs from the bitcrusher and add some sub? I like the wobble pattern i think the drums complement it nicely but you need some sub in there...

@Bassmagnet Definately a glitchy vibe. I like the intro and that second buildup. Some of the synths need a bit of work i think, maybe don't bitcrush so heavily. Nice work on all the variation aswell.

-Conflux "Storm"
Nice use of melodies. I want some chestnuts roasted from the open fire! I'm liking the subby feel. Great work with the samples (violins and what have you). The vibe is moody/happy all at the same time. Could be the use of christmas strings? I like the drums when you come back in after the break. That half-time dnb feel. Not to repeat, but great use of melody. Tune!

@Plasticsun Great track dude loving everything on it, the only thing that really feel kind of annoiyng is that it has too many bass drums , but that's only my opinion, besides that 5star tune mate!

@Thierry_le_dj Not quite feeling it, the melody intro is not pleasant at all it feels like some random notes with no progression at all, the other thing is that wobble envelope, it has a weird vibe maybe you could turn a bit up the Attack on the envelope. Keep it up Brother! :)

@Bassmagnet Nice intro wicked drop and good song structuring, but i've heard this song too many times that's not really impressive anymore, love the groovy cymbals before the second drop. TUNE mate :)

Here's one of mine own made a couple of weeks ago, hope you like it!
