This has such atmosphere. Don't like it as much as Burial though.

Its a big tune no doubt. For me I think burial still edges clubroot. That may change in the future though.

hmmm, in a lucid dream is it possible to stick a cd or something on and listen to music?

At first, I was thinking II : MMX was far superiour to the s/t. . But tracks like Embryo, Dulcet, Lucid Dream etc. just keep popping up in my head.
That being said, Orbiting and the entire bonus disc of MMX and also Physicality are also obnoxiously good.

Clubroot is filling up Burial's void. Wouldn't call one superior to the other though, their sound certainly overlaps in a lot of area's, but I'd say moodwise there is still a big difference.

Burial still gives me alot more chills down my spine, but clubroot has a much wider sound.

Clubroot def deserves more love imo. Lo Dubs is a very underrated label, Recently purchased this:

Clubroot is amazing been hooked since the first album came out.

Lo Dubs label is facking ace, and clubroot is a foooking don. full stop

Loved the first album. Will get this soon. I believe he will play live soon too - shuold be cool. Although I dont know if it would translate well in a club setting.

This. Had his first album on few times yesterday, Lucid Dream is definitely one of the highlights.

Clubroots first album came close to Burials but I think it's going to take something very special to top it.

the album is amazing a really great producer was really nice to get the cd of it free with the LP.Im really hoping to see clubroot soon after seeing the thread about bookings.

I Agree, When i got clubroots first album it compleatly replaced that spot where i'd normally stick on a bit of burial, it even replaced scubas a mutuial antipathy for a few months!

in fact i like this kind of thing so much i made a group

im sure we can all find more stuff like this which lets face it is harder to find out about than the much bigger tearout stuff these days
