Playing after some tearout dubstep cat

Hey guys - I'm playing directly after a tearout Dubstep DJ at a decent rave pretty soon and I'm playing funky/house/nighslugs biz.

Any suggestions on tunes that aren't gonna absolutely clear the dancefloor after an hour of doctor p biz?

Thinking about starting on L-vis 1990 Compass and going from there.

start with that fis t - nighthunter track, that's the most tearout funky tune i've heard

Tunes i currently drop at dubstep nights that go down well are:-

The Brockout - Shake Down
Redlight - Stupid
Platnum - Trippin (Redlight Remix)
SHM - One (Barletta Remix)
Zinc & Benga - My DJ
Zinc & Dynamite - Wile Out

I know theres not really alot of funky etc in there, and probably a bit too commercial some of that, but the dubstep heads seem to accept it.

was going to suggest that, and emvee's glitch dub is fairly hard too. i know some of geeneus' new tunes have got digi releases but I don't buy digi stuff so i've got no idea what's actually available

scratcha's remix of girl unit maybe? depends if you want hard in terms of drums or in the general feel of the tunes (probably the latter if after tearout dubstep?)

i know you said that untold would clear the dancefloor but if you played some of his harder stuff with the grimy basslines i could see that working, and i wouldn't always assume that everyone in a tearout dubstep crowd has no interest in other kinds of music - you might be pleasantly surprised

edit: oh and riot music by donaeo would be ideal

Stupid's definitely in the bag!

Solar Disco (Untold Remix) is too.

Geenous - Ultrafunkula

anything else?

that venom - deeper track is in there too when i get that rekkid!

Just looking for some impact tracks for the first few tunes then take it a bit deeper/less tear out.

Just don't really wanna clear the rave or compromise the sound I want to play

I think I'd start with this old classic, the vocal says it all "Please do not be alarmed, remain calm. Do not attempt to leave the dancefloor!"

Chances are you'll clear the floor anyway playing at 130 rather than 145 as most tear out dickheads seem to play. I'd probably play rat alert
