^favorite vex'd tune. thats gotta be some saw type reese with pitchbends going crazy.
slugabed kills it, i have no clue what hes doing. the main bass sounds resemble layered square waves to me. idk hope that helps less than not at all....

I think the first tune has bitcrushing over a synth with high resonance

HEY thats a video i made
oh annddd, it just sounds like square and saws, maybe one 1 octave lower or something, slight detuning or one wave transposed in semitones
i made a bass like that vex'd tune once, i'll check if i can find it and see what i did
and the slugabed one i dont know, my guess is compressed square's and distortion etc

yo tripwire check out the glitch hop production forum, if you haven't already
anyone know of any producers similar to slugabend? He has J Dilla'esque, fractured hip hop rhythms, with sick synths. It's what I've always dreamed of making - now I see its been done. But it's only inspired me more.
