All the games look fucking shit. All shovelware. You would have thought they'd have hooked up a big game to show this off, but I bet it's effort to make anything that's not completely retarded. The technology looks like it has potential, just a bit disappointing atm.

It will turn out shit. won't work as well as everyone expects. Will be fail. Nice new console however. Good looks, nice size, great wi-fi. Not to mention it is released tomorrow no waiting around bullshit

they're hypin about not needing controllers anymore and how it will make things simpler but how is standing up and flailing your arms around like a twat any easier than chilling on a couch and moving your thumbs a little bit? And lol at wii sports and wii fit 2.0

these things and the wii is NOT stoner friendly, so i will be still playing on the normal controllers.

however i do like the look at the new xbox slim, 250gb hard drive, built in wi fi and quieter than the last xbox

10 days and a few people already started hacking it, and the videos looks promising...

The games are pretty awful, and there is lag between your movement vs. your character... the lag makes it pretty useless IMO as it doesn't feel real. The augmented reality was fun for a day. Haven't tried the video chat or "watch a movie together" thing, but I hope that includes divx etc, and hopefully both people don't have to put the movie disc in their xbox because that would be pretty useless but not surprising really.

I think it will be much better once developers learn how to utilize it properly. It's really too soon to tell.

I dunnow man, my missus entrusted her Wii to me to bring to a party. When I woke up the next day one of the controllers was in pieces and the other one had bite marks on it. I still got a mean lump on my head from where she hit me with the bitten controller lol.

I made a personal decision to boycott Kinect the moment it was mentioned and now that its here it's every bit of stupid I thought it'd be... No serious gamer would play Halo Reach or Need for Speed by waving his arms about... nor buy new games with fake animals onscreen to "pet"... Old people in nursing homes are not suddenly going to become gamers with this junk, and little kids ALL, already have a Wii.

I don't know why Microsoft is being so greedy. You can't OWN every niche in every market. Do one, and do it well--Xbox Live was that. Ride it out. Their going to bankrupt their game division off this junk and then either pass the millions in losses on to us REAL gamers in steep prices over the coming years, or bail out completely and leave us having to buy the next Sony P.O.S.

If you can't tell, I just don't like Kinect.

No one should be serious about gaming, unless it's counter-strike Used to play that.

OT. Never heard about this kinect, then again I haven't touched my 360 in like 2 years.
