Problem with Massive?

OK so im extremely new to production. Started about 2 days ago (LOL) everybody starts somewhere. So i downloaded a cracked copy of Massive, loaded it up and whenever i do something in it i cant hear any sound. Currently im using this mic
http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/xbo ... e-x11.aspx (i know major crap lol) and i can hear everything else like youtube etc but i cant hear anything in Massive, any advice? Thanks

for starters, cracked copys = fail... make an investment....
seriously though, check your sound card options on massive, i'd try everyone of them and see if you have sound. It's most likely that.

have you plugged it in? have you installed your cracked copy of massive? and are you pressing any keys..?
try these basic steps then report back

dont use massive, especially not a cracked version. download synth1 or some other freeware synth then once you've got a good understanding of synthesis go back and buy massive so you can use it to it's full potential.
...or you could always buy sytrus
