How to change lfo speed during the track?

Hi all. I use cubase and i have a question about wobbling basses:
i know how to create a wobble sound regulating the LFO rate speed of the vst. So i have a wobbling bass, but with a constant rate speed.
In dubstep it seems that the rate speed continuosly changes: accelerating, decelerating during the track. This gives the track a cool "live set" mood.
How can you do this with cubase and midi vst (Massive for example)? Do you play live the wobbling bass parts?
Tnx!
