I'm setting up a record label called JUMP. We will be releasing Dubstep / Breakbeat / Electro / Electro Swing / Jungle / Drumnbass / Drumstep / Breakcore / IDM and associated Bass music genres.
Our website is going to be the main portal and a key factor of revenue generation thru itunes affilliate sales.
I'm looking to find someone is a mover / shaker / glitcher in the blogosphere to look after the website. Main duties would be writing new posts & promotion in forums and social media. We are organising videos for every track we release and already have some strategic brand partnership bods on board. Tracks will be plugged to National radio in the UK. Whoever takes the role will be supported by an experienced and competent staff, giving them the freedom to focus on the tasks at hand. I imagine this role will take 5-20 hours a week, depending on release schedule etc. Payment to be discussed with suitable candidates.
I am also looking to find at least one person to represent JUMP in every major city/territory in the world. Key activities would be making sure that the local DJs & promotors are kept up to speed with releases, Giving JUMP presence in local events and nightlife scenes, and channeling new music back to JUMP for future releases. This role would probably be suitable for DJs/promotors who are active online. Contributors would be rewarded with free downloads and access to pre-release material.
