ha yeah cheers i was just happily listening to the album then this slapped me in the face like a massive brutal fish just wondered what other people thought about it is allwormcode wrote:Random advice: Try not to get too caught up in listening to music from a "producing" point of view. Try to avoid being the guy trainspotting samples and presets at the club. I know someone like that, and I went through a phase of it myself a few years back as well as I'm sure most people do. It really makes it hard to just sit back & enjoy the music, which is what music is made for in the first place. Except maybe the sitting part...
in music there is no such thing as better imo. what does better mean, how many people buy it, how phat your snare is, how many wubs per minutes, or how many people tell you how they raped there nan because your track is so filthy.wirez wrote:Fuck that. Art is about criticising the competition and focusing on how to better them. Listen as a producer, fuck other peoples music and enjoying it. Don't even appreciate it, just say you can do better and then do it.
Yeah I get ya. Well, I think a good sound is a good sound regardless of the source. It is interesting to hear how other people use them. To clarify, I didn't mean never listen from a producing point of view, just try not to get too caught up in it is all. IMO etc...Neff wrote: ha yeah cheers i was just happily listening to the album then this slapped me in the face like a massive brutal fish just wondered what other people thought about it is all
You obviously enjoy different "music" (3za wrote:how many people buy it, how phat your snare is, how many wubs per minutes, or how many people tell you how they raped there nan because your track is so filthy.
