Thread's been done a thousand times, but might as well rehash (aaaaaah).

I've been a daily smoker for a while now, but it's starting to fuck me up, and I realise I just could be so much more productive without it. I stay up all night, so, smoke a joint at 12 at night - spend the night till 7am in bed eating cheetos. No joint - spend the night till 7am riding dragons and being a fucking badass.

So good sirs and madams, doseth thou smoketh the cheeba?

I stopped two or three weeks ago.

it's been about two hours since i've smoked

i prang when smoking on my own so i aint a regular.

dunno why, never used to. when i was smoking when i was younger it was too fucking good, then i stopped for a while and since i started again i always preferred drinking

Just over ten years since I started, I've never felt it's ruined productivity, quite the oppsite in fact

same, hoping for a serious cutdown over the summer to focus on money/mixing/starting production.

I smoke every other couple of days. Sometimes after I buy weed I smoke every day for a few days, then take a break. I don't find problems with productivity. In fact it helps me out in that area as it gets rid of my anxiety, and also helps with my sleep problems too, both of which I've had since I was a kid.

I don't usually smoke more than a few hits though unless I'm smoking with someone.

i smoked hard for bout 4 years, stopped for the last 3-4 months to concentrate on exams, found it easy which is encouraging.
my last exam was today, needless to say i was ringing my dealer shortly after, seeing as this weather + weed = aweeesome.

Pretty much this, it also tends to help me with my frequent migraines


The alternative mindset it helps me achieve is also awesome for when i produce (pointing out the obvious, i know).

But as this piece of advice suggests, I use it sparingly, most often closer to the final stages of my tunes to view it in a different light
