Hey guys, just made a song and I am really happy with it. Just wondered what the rules are for releasing songs with samples taken from other songs in them? Because my song contains samples from; The Fugees - Ready or Not, and a small sample which you are probably all familiar with, from; Method Man - How High Ft.Redman. Just don't eant to wake up one morning with threats of being sued
Thanks, KhemicalKid

releases on smaller labels (ie practically every label that will apply to this scene) usually get away with it- the original guys are unlikely to hear it or are quick to recognise that they won't make much money out of suing.
Bigger labels have lawmen to worry about this for you

& if for some reason the track hits BIGGG...
you can always ask permission to use the sample.

That tune was mostly built on samples from an Enya tune anyway, unless you mean the vocals.
