So skateninja's recommend me a new, very cheap but still somewhat quality skateboard!

i'm 1m70 weight about 65 kg and i like riding in the street the best

if you dont have a good local shop, hit up CCS... you can build your own skateboard from the deck up, and it's pro quality for about $100 american... im pretty sure they ship overseas, but that might cost you

EDIT: i see they also have pre-built completes for $60.. not bad

all right. little question: does lenght en weight make a difference in type of board?

Not sure what the shop situation is like where you are but if you can get UK boards on import, check out either Blueprint or Landscape boards. Not skated in ages but I remember having a Blueprint board once. had a really nice concave on it and a lot of pop. Good quality and cheap (cheaper than boards branded from America anyway).

You're a bit shorter than me but I'd reckon a 7.75" board would be a good shout. Not too wide and cumbersome and a good amount of chuckablilty. Hope you find something. Post up what you end up getting! :D (also, avoid Tensor trucks if possible. They're designed and built in Cali and are not really good in colder, wetter European weather. Have cracked 2 sets before. Royals are best IMO.

I have a few shops in my town so I guess I'll be able to find something. Also know a few friends who are still skating, maybe I'll give the shop a visit soon :)
Can't wait to get back on the plank. Tbh when I was younger i wasn't really that good at it, but i didn't practice a lot. Now I'm planning to go ride now and then. I love cruising the streets :)

I was absolutely shite at skating but I loved it all the same. I started real late as well which didn't help but I was content just fucking around down small stair sets and little ledges while my mates threw themselves down 7-sets and landed in a crumpled heap on the floor or snapped their board.

Had a mate at uni who had ADHD and just kept doing cone hits all evening and then trying the gnarliest stuff you'd ever seen. He was once almost completely comatose sitting up against a wall and then suddenly he got up, climbed up onto the top of a 12 ft wall and then just acid dropped off it onto the flat. He buckled so hard but then he'd just do another cone, climb back up and do it Again. about 10 tries later, he rode away from it. Never had that mentality.

Very good decks. Though Habitat were always my favourite branded deck. Nice and light with tonnes of pop. :D

Chocolate always ahd the best team in my opinon. Marc Johnson is the best skater going I reckon. So much steez.

I want to get back into skating, well miss it. Always rock a 7.63". Got a fresh setup lurking about so I've got no excuse really.

find a loca skateshop a buy they're blank deck, id recommend 7.5 or 7.75 will be cheap and just like any other really, it will defo do the job. get some venture trucks cos they're cheap and pretty solid, if not independent are pretty strong or royals. tensors are well light but get fucked up. just get some basic fairly cheap bearings doesnt really matter too much and some white blank wheels it shudnt cost u too much at all.

i wanna get back into it too but every time i do i just dont feel the love for it like i used to

Habitat decks are what you need.

EDIT: I don't know if they still are, but they were about 8 years ago.

girl decks are nice, ive been rockin a landscape one recently a mate gave me

ive been living mostly off free decks people give me at parks though, other then the width i dont see too much of a difference
some decks have more pop for sure, but i end up squarin em off after about a month or two anyway

My habitat deck was thick as fuck and had fuck all pop.

But then I was kind of shit, but we have a sick park so I just used to skate that.
