I'm kinda disapointed with this actually. This may be because in my mind Sleeparchive + Dubstep is the very best thing ever invented. It just seems a little uninspired. His techno is still ridiculously good though.
I've been told he did the grime remix of Modeselektor's Silkon, anyone wish to confirm this rumour? I think someone else said it was Matt Shadetek, which would seem more likely, but I just don't know.
Big tune whoever did it.

i know he did a remix of hello mom.
yeah, not really feeling this like i thought i would. almost bought it, but sometimes i have to stop and think about why i really want to buy a record. is it just to have it or am i actually gonna play it. can't afford to buy music just to have it anymore. kinda why i quit buying every one of the various releases.

The Hello Mum remix EP has his Dancingbox remix, and it just seems a bit wierd that he'd be credited for that one and want to keep the silkon remix anonymous. Except for the fact it's so different to everything else sleeparchive. So it's a mystery.

yeah not into this.
the unfinished bleepy benga bit on the stella sessions 21st feb sounds like sleeparchive gone dubstep, but really good. it gets pulled up around 73 minutes. delicious, hypnotic progressive bleepiness.

yeah, i agree with you about that benga bit. the tune's called grain and is basically everything a sleeparchive dubstep song should be. benga seems to be making the biggest tunes atm

tunes are dull. dont rate them at all im sad to say. to be honest, ive never really been that grabbed by his techno either, but i dont think ive given it enough of a chance. whats a good introduction easily/cheaply accessible?

I'm more into the early singles than any of the double packs. They've just been repressed on nice coloured/clear vinyl. My favourites are Elephant Island and Infrared Glow

I dunno, just really like those lil test tones on sleeparchive tracks. I've only got elephant island but thats pretty great. Its all very minimalistic and dark which I like and it all seems to kind of blend so perfectly. Clip to the benga track here:

the fact that such stripped down music can completely suck me in. it's a vibe thing

I can't really explain it but I'm never very good at stuff like that.
