yes people...
been on here for a bit now but havent had the chance to get to know who alot of people are yet...
big things goin down up north and we got vex'd, various production, pinch, $hy, skream, n-type, distance, distinction & loads more being showcased in manc in the v.near future.
these events will are being put on by myself, se7en (the herbal medium/brokenSolid/black riddle), omen (tectonic/terrain/random trio), u-basstard (ashockinghobby/boomkat), dave alias & point b (made2measure, black riddle) and a few others.
we got loads of projects goin on so we'd like to get everyone involved and give producers/dj's the chance to network with us. we also got close links with leeds, liverpool, sheffield, preston & surrounding areas.
good to see the sound being pushed in many directions. ive seen for myself how were tearin up the scene.
so who is every one and where u at???
peace.

good call.
i'm in the hague, nl. a producer, releasing tracks and remixes here and there in the 'scene' people choose to call broken beat. tend to have a bit of a darker, more abstract/dubby sound at that than most others. but actually some of my stuff is sampledriven & hiphopminded as well. can't seem to pin it down to one specific style actually.
see
http://www.myspace.com/dogdaze for some forthcoming remixes.
*end of plug*
my involvement in dubstep so far has been restricted to pure enthusiasm for the music. needless to say some very refreshing stuff is made, which i much needed

I'm Ben.. been alive for 20 years. Studying at Leeds uni, live in London the rest of the time. Came into electronic music about 4 years ago through late 60s Blue Note style weird jazz and funk. Have finally got to a place where I'm very happy with my skills as a DJ... just too lazy to do anything about it
fairly recent convert, been buying dubstep records for almost exactly a year... basically since DMZ got involved, or a bit after. Even though I was buying records, I was never fully convinced until the sound till I went to DMZ for the first time though.. then everything seemed to click. I started buying tunes just because I wanted to support a new scene that seemed to have energy and potential, and now I'm fucking glad I did - picked up loads of classics I wouldn't be able to find if I was looking now...

Big up man, didn't know you made tunes... loving that hipster tune

I'm a particle physicist living in Geneva, Switzerland. I mix dubstep for fun, sometimes play out, but not as often as I should - need to practise more, to acquire skills, to get gigs, to push the sound... Have been known to write beats, another thing I need to do more of. Problem is it's snowboardng season...
