I can't list favorites, it's because everything that Hotflush puts out is already gold!!!

However I can't get enough of the new Mount Kimbie release, yummy!!!!

yeah it's insane to try to pick out a favorite.

Gotta say Scuba's my favorite for sure. Triangulation proper blew my mind, loving his new style. Also, pulled out Aqualung and Mutual Antipathy the other day, man's been brilliant for years.

otherwise:

Vaccine
Gravious
Sigha
Sepalcure
Mount Kimbie

would have put Pangaea in place of Sigha, but don't really consider Pangaea a "hotflush" artist obviously.

I still can't get enough of Joy Orbison's Hyph Mngo, even if that is pretty much Hotflush's most successful release to date, it just means that the song is THAT DAMN GOOD!!!

I was absolutely astonished when RA straight up panned george fitzgerald's release, lazily describing it as a lesser hyph mngo..

the b-side especially is miles ahead of hyph mngo imo. just the fact they gave it a 2 rating is unfuckingbelievable.

i agree. that review was way unfair at best.

hotflush is a monument. just look at the talented artists they've uncovered in the past few years, and the risks they've taken.

that said, my all-time favorite would have to be pangaea's release with mosaix/bear witness. two brilliant tunes in two different styles, and they sound humongous on the big rigs.

Gravious-Wormsign is my favourite Hotflush release along with Toasty's Knowledge.

Them 2 tunes stand out for me but i coudn't list a top 5 coz the whole Hotflush catalogue is nuts.

I'd have to say Hyph Mngo is may favourite Hotflush release, not saying it is the best quality, just i like it best, it's one of my favourite tunes, and sent me into the direction of music i listen to today. The George Fitzgerald release is good too, doesnt deserve to be called a lesser Hyph Mngo, he has a similar style but not that similar! I also think his forthcoming Doldrums release Dont You!? is better. Mount Kimbie of course are favourites too, how can they not be!

Im surprised though at how Untold's Just For You hasn't got much of a reception, I think it's a great tune, another one of my favourite Hotflush releases, but I cant remember ever hearing it in a mix, or recall anyone ever mentioning it.

I need to give Sepalcure a proper listen to, i listened to the clips on the Hotflush website and liked it but never went any further, and people are always praising them.

Mount Kimbie - Crooks & Lovers

Scuba - Trianglation
Sigha - On The Strip / Remembrance
Joy Orbison - Hyph Mongo/Wet Look

I like Mount Kimbie, but It's getting to be overrated to be honest. There were people doing these things two years ago.

At any rate, my favourite Hotlfush release has to be

Luke.Envoy - Gamma / Honour Kill

Vex'd / Loefah - Candyfloss Remix/The Knowledge Remix

Scuba - A Mutual Antipathy + Especially the Remixes which are pure gold.

Untold - Sweat / Dante , this is the last good Untold bit I've heard (with the exception of that F remix). I am dumbfounded about this new style he and a few others have begon producing with, franckly I find that minimal house-like sound, gay.

Joy Orbison - Hyph Mngo / Wet Look
