how can a clip cut through the mix?
you mean that you clipped the mix and it now cuts through ears?
and shouldnt the two tracks be the same volume to compare, because otherwise louder = better?
...

To me the "after" clip sounded significantly worse. Distortion in the (formerly clean) sub and all.

when I say the clip 'cuts' through the mix , what I mean is the elements i.e drums / hats stand out alot more and are more 'in yer face'
everyone that I have mastered for so far has been happy
You can slag off as much as you want on here , but at the end of the day if you don't get a free mastered clip of your own work or get a track mastered by me , you will never know!!!!
I highly recommend getting a FREE mastering sample of your own track and see how it comes out , thanks

Im shamed of you guys. Cmon. Get creative.
Im game tek, I see you getting the piss taken out of you on here all the time, Ill be your next a-b comparison, if you do as good as the hardware and treated room I currently pay for, Ill switch loyalty n save some cash man, Ive no digi hate.
How do I go about obtaining said preview treatment, and a-b'ing it for these guys/myself?

your spamming this thread with a comment like that , I'm offering a service for producers who hav'nt quite got to grips with mastering yet.....and I also give production tips along the way if producers want them , alot of people appreciate what I'm doing ,but it seems theres also alot of haters , idiots that are being niave and think they know it all in 2 weeks !.......for the record , I've been producing / mastering / releasing since around 2001
