Geiom aka Hem, (born Kamal Joory) has worked his magic on up and coming artist Lauren Pritchard's new single 'Painkillers'. The Nottingham based producer has turned Pritchard's forthcoming single (out 9th August on Island Records) into a chilled out dub step corker of a tune and Get Darker bring this to you exclusively.
Pritchard hailing from Jackson Tennessee now resides in London. Her debut album Wasted in Jackson will be released in October 2010. Painkillers is taken from her Painkillers EP and features the legendary sticksman and Roots founder Questlove on drums. Lauren's tracks have been getting remixers all a flutter of late with Roni Size having put his seal on the track - his first remix in over 3 years. We predict big things to come from the 22 yr old.
