various live in seattle -- 02.17.07

realized I originally posted this in the wrong forum (audio)...sorry for the repetition...
the show was excellent UNTIL one of the guys (there were three guys total, and I thought various was 2) took it down a retro dum-n-bass path. i can't believe that one of the most progressive forces in music let this guy turn a beautiful show into an anticlimactic mess. they need to trim the fat and ditch the guy in the middle IMHO.
still, it was 75% sublime
anyone else seen various live? comments?

the bulk of the set was done with Abelton with some turntable layers. this is clearly audible in the recording. the set ended with one of the guys (Peter, i think), playing a DnB set. They closed with Bruk feat. Vex.
Missed it, but would've wanted to see

Saw message Various at Chop Suey, but
I received a buzz on the shows at the Science Center and what I just heard to be SLAMMIN dnb show at Temple Billiards on 17th.
I ended up at the Kinetic 2 show. Good, but not everything I was hopin' fo'
Seeking more understanding and LIVE Dubstep to hear.

Onset at Temple Billiards was SICK...One of the best over the 5 years they have been doing it...

OH YES!!!
March 30th is the 1st all dubSTEP nite(its a monthly) in Seattle at TOST in Fremont...With BIG things coming down the pipeline. Trust me, if people show up then things are gunna get HEAVY in the coming months.
