theres a track on my soundcloud made with no samples (except the drum but you used drum samples too). and your beat is gay, the bass guitar sounds retarded, why emulate the sound of a real instrument? thats what samples are for.

I guess I've just grown to hate the idea that one Artist A can become exponentially more successful than Artist B just by copying and pasting Artist B's track into a DAW and layering some extra drums on it --it seems like an unethical practice to me. I do understand that hiphop is historically rooted in a world of sampling, but that's whats always bothered me about the music, no matter how much I may enjoy it as a consumer. This discussion is, as mentioned, "handbags at dawn"--but hey, the title got your attention and my SoundCloud probably has about 80 more plays than it would have otherwise
