Headphone help.

Alright so to start of i'm using the Hercules dj control steel to just try and make some mixes. i've been getting pissed off cause I want to try it with headphones but my computers headphone jack is broken. I have some bose speakers with a little circular volume changer that has a headphone jack, the problem is it wont let me play music simultaneously through the speakers and the headphones. Anyone know how I could rig this so i can have the speakers playing and headphones? my dads saying it would not be possible which is fuckin gay.

i have -3 dollars in my bank account right now lol. how do you learn to mix without headphones

You can't mix without headphones. Unless you know every song inside out and you use a waveform to beatmatch. But you shouldn't do this. You'll really have to invest in a decent pair of headphones and an audiointerface/external soundcard.
