Using Korg padKONTROL pads to automate the LFO speed?

Hey guys!
Quick Question: Basically in Thor I want a more accurate way of changing LFO speeds (tempo synced) than the knob on my padKONTROL. Is there a way to set up the pads so that when I hit a different pad, the LFO rate changes?
Thanks in advice, great site by the way.

Ooo, I love that idea! The only tricky thing with pads is they are defaulted to note commands. Although there might be a eay around it, here's another idea. (I'm on my phone, so i haven't tried it and I'm brief,) but you could use a keyboard assignment with combinator buttons. After combining the Thor, In the programer select the lfo rate and adjust the numbers to a specific rate. Do that for the rates you want to control.
Let me know if that works and makes sense. I want to give it a try so I could make up better directions.

Hmm, Not sure I know exactly what you mean but I think I do, I'll give it a go now.
Thanks
Oh and by the way they can be edited to control CC's?
EDIT:
Tried and failed lol. But I'm not familiar with the programming area of combinator.

It was a pretty incomplete explaination

I love your idea because it would give me a chance to play notes on the right hand and control rate on the left. I'll see if I can come up with something and reply with some better explanation.

i think you'd need some third party midi software like max or something.. and I don't know if you'd be able to use it with reason..
try looking into max.. idk tho just an idea

Can you link multiple controllers to the same thing in Reason? Actually, you might not need to.
Go into setting mode in the PK and hit a pad. Press the NOTE/CC# button, jog the jogwheel up and up and up until you get to the numbers. Use the same number for all the pads you want to use.
Press the velocity button and set what value you want for each pad. Soo pad 1 will send 20 when it's pressed and the next one 40 or whatever, and so on.
You can also press the REL.VAL. button and adjust the value for the pads to send when they aren't pressed, probably the same for all of them, so that the speed 'defaults' back when you haven't pressed any pads.
Then link your knob in reason to the CC# you chose for them all, and it should work.

Just got home, tried your idea, and it kind of worked! There was just a small problem: When you let go, the velocity drops back to 0 :/
Anybody have a solution? Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks to all that have given help

Gotcha. (Didn't know Rel. Val. meant Release value)
Making a scene of it, it worked but then I hit a wrong button :L.
But thank you SO MUCH.
