Logic ES2 Synth

Anyone have experience making wobbles with it? I have no problem getting the LFO working nicely, but i cant figure out how to get my note to sustain. It slowly fades while you hold a note, and i cant figure out how to fix it. I need something thats heavy all the way through.

Advice/Suggestions? much appreciated

Very new to logic, still trying to figure things out. HUGE change from FL studio = P

I use it, nifty bit of kit but i tend to use it just to get the very basic sound, and then layer a load of external effects. If you go onto the main page on this site there's a production sub-forum, do a search of that section and if nothing comes up start a new thread. I know a few people on there rate the ES2 too!

i use the es2 quite alot now, i dont do wobbles, i get subs and nice simple leads from it, and some chord pads, you kinda have to get used to using it though, the interface is quite complex compared to other synths, i never use the es1 though lol, i never get anything more than cheesy from that lol.

yeah, it seems pretty powerful. cant wait to dive into it a little further. in the past i used albino3, and so far im liking this wayyyy better. feels like theres much more to experiment with here.

^ minus the deduction of one oscillator (3 in ES2 as opposed to the 4 in albino)

i can get much better sounds out of the es1
the only area the es2 beats the es1 imo is for sub/sine bass

do you use FM synthesis for some of your bass sounds aswell?

agreed. ES1 is great for leads, chords etc but the ES2 does silky sub/sine action. the polysynth is nice too, i'm not even sure what all the waveforms are but the layout lets you make really quick changes easily

EXS24 is the best for sub, open it up and it opens with a pretty mean sub, just mess about with the ADSR.

No - seriously - the es1 for subs

I mean - whatever works for you, but the es1 makes a cold sub

recently started to use el8 distressor on sub lines from es1.... works a treat

for people with no access to hardware just resample bass from es2 and es1 into exs 24...works well with synths and drums also
