(I will admit I am very lazy and haven't used the search bar to find an answer to this so if you know of a thread please post a link)
I have recently started listening to darker tunes and have really enjoyed them but I can never seem to find many artist who produce those kind of tracks.
A few of the artist I have started listening to are
Burial
LoeFah
Kromestar
Mala
Coki
I really want to move away from the filth(Borgore,Funtcase, Doctor P, Bratkilla, etc) that got me into dubstep. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy listening to those tracks but I want to get into the roots of dubstep the soulful stuff if you know what a mean.
Please post any artists or tracks you think I think enjoy.

Listen to Mary Anne Hobb's Experimental Show on BBC Radio 1. You'll probably find lots of tunes from her show that you'd love.
Ital Tek
XI
Kryptic Minds
Starkey
Gemmy
Kode9
Kastle
Aqua Drop
Not all those guys do only dubstep but I like all the their sounds. DZA already made a sick list. I hope I didn't duplicate any names.

Check the Roots of Dubstep (and Roots of El-B too), and the early Dubstep Allstars compilations for the classics

Slaughter mob mate, they got a lot of the wobbles you probs fell in love with when you started your dubstep journey but they take it deeper and darker. playas in the game since day one.
Hatchas tunes always kill it.
King midas sound
youngsta's mix's will give you a good taste of the real stuff
Pinch
2562
Jack sparrow
Goth trad
Bare names......

EDIT: It's lovely to have people asking for the good shit, instead of the usual "can you show me some dirty tunes, youtube can only do so much". Welcome to a beautiful new world.

I found these mixes today, they were made like 2 years ago (i got nothing to do with them) but they have so many essential tunes. it made my evening a bit more reminiscent! hope they are of use.

THIS.
I have to second this, the first artist that came to mind.
Listen to these tunes below and see for yourself if you want to hear more of his. Most of his stuff oozes in darkness. I love it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgXg40zn ... re=related
Also you might dig Martyn, he produced a few deep, techno oriented tunes
For instance "Vancouver"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDGbheBrhBE
and he has another BADASS tune that came made its way into a few mixes called "Miniluv"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQpAR7ZmT7A
and finally here's another one
