NEW DRUM N BASS FORUM

I, like many, am sick of having to trudge through pages and pages just to find some quality music. I've made a new forum, which has a whole board for Drum N Bass / Jungle.

http://www.inputforum.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=2

I know that it's new, and doesn't have many members, but the more people who join and post, the more feedback you'll get on your mixes/ tunes, the more tunes you'll find and more production tips you'll get.

nah man, you need to dig deeper. Alix Perez, Icicle, Distance, Noisia, Spectrasoul, dBridge, instra:mental, Skream, Rockwell.... i could go on.... if you like the dubstep youngsta plays, i dont see why you wouldn't like any of those! DnB is definatley not dead, although alot of it is shit!

while there are some gems among this monster genre, it never resonated with me as much as jungle did/does... after a while i got sick of the same drum pattern used by a lot of (but not all) DnB producers

diff courses and all that

i meant that breakage is keeping the scene going, not commercialising it i suppose how i worded it wasn't the clearest way of doing so.

i'd love it if people were to join the forum, and post up a few of their all time faves, may it be some ancient Jungle tracks, or some futuristic, explorational beats.

that'd be the place

drum'n'bass is fuckin booming in southwest america and eastern europe.

just because all the little kiddies at my school don't like it doesn't mean it's not got a good scene going. plus, dubstep about 2 years ago was still unheard of where i'm located. it's just recently that absolutely EVERYONE is listening to it.

DnB is definitely not dead. It's way more popular than dubstep. But maybe that's outside of the UK... lot of people in the UK think Dubstep is hyped right now :)

I still listen to a lot of dnb, mostly stuff like Shogun Audio but also Noisia and Black Sun Empire.

Yeah man, you generally want to put a break between a list of things you like and a list of things you don't.

I'm with AxeD. D'n'b is still very popular, but dubstep is something new and sounds interesting. D'n'b was commercialised early in the 90s with Roni Size, Goldie .. There was some silence in main stream while Pendulum already hit the top charts.

No no no - there is still amazing drum & bass out there..
how about Lenzman, Random Movement, Calibre, Alix Perez, Spectrasoul for great musical stuff
Spor, Apex, Noisia, Break, Chris.Su???
Seems like the number of badman dnb producers is way smaller than dubstep tho..

engage, encode, davip, hell, 90% of the breed12inches label, neonlight, rico&scoop, task horizon, neutral point, wreckage machinery, prolix...so much good dnb hidden in the massive amount of shite
