Dubstep in games...indy title in need of music guy

I'm a professional game artist, working at MGS in Redmond.
You'll probably notice I have made no posts besides this. I just joined dubstepforums today because : A. I fucking love dubstep and B. I'm looking for an artist to collab with.

Its hard to believe noone has really used dubstep to score their games yet, except for some possible examples on newgrounds.com.
I want to change that. Dubstep's fluid brutality is perfect for excentuating the badassery in games.

I am running an indy game with about 8 friends and fellow game developers. Our programmer is a 6th year vet at Blizzard, Im at Microsoft, another is at Petroglyph and one at iD. No shit. We're pros, and we are all working on a brutal side project called Grim: Strange Case. Its not for profit and is a vanity project for all of us. check it out here http://www.moddb.com/games/grim-strange-case/images

Obviously we want to score it with dubstep. We all agree Grim, aka Jack the Ripper, needs to be dicing fools up with some filthy dubstep in the background.
Whats not obvious is how we're going to use the dubstep.
We want to mix the different elements(bars of each instrument) of the score by triggering them with gameplay. Forexample baddie types, special moves, damage taken, player speed and such will all effect/start/stop a musical element eg: drums, bass, synth.
All these elements would be mixed in and out based on whats happening in the game. More succinctly put, gameplay driven mixing.
I've prototyped the music mixing system in UDK and its bad ass magic. Everything mixes on cue and matches up with proper mix points so shit never comes out of time.

Hit me up if you're down to be our music guy.

If there are no artists willing to work with us, perhaps you all can send some people my way.
names, internet contacts, youtube channels.
The ideal dubstepper for this would be someone unsigned looking to stand out from the rest.

the artwork looks rad mate, dunno if dubstep would suit it so much but the atmosphere in earlier dubstep tracks definitely would. good luck finding someone!

i'm unsigned, so i'd fit that category. do you wanna see some examples of previous stuff first?

More people responded than I had anticipated, awesome. You guys are fucking kickass.
If you emailed or PM'd me I am still at work and will get back to you tonight. Most of you are in the UK, we are all West Coast Stateside....
I will respond to everyone who has sent me stuff. All of it is so good.
In order to keep it tidy I'm going to let any of you still wanting to be considered for this 24 or so hours before I give the final options to the team.
Again, thanks all who responded, I'll get at you tonight.

So heres the deal. The team is going to take a couple days to decide since shits still coming in and we need to do everyone justice by checking it all out. I love this stuff. Evidently you do too. I'm hesitant to give direction as to what I'm looking for soundwise because that would be your area of expertise and your part of the collaboration.
District asked about pay if any. I have to say no. This is a not for profit project. If we made a cent off this commercially we'd be in violation with our employers. However, we plan on entering the game into some festivals/contests, whatever may come of that would be handled straight.

Im sorry but from a design point of view, dubstep does not fit with the setting, the characters or themes. Im saying that judging on the imagery and content you display on your site.

The only game that has come close to sort of fitting with the dubstep sound is Crackdown 2 (shit game), in terms of setting.

Like your enthusiasm but think the content you are delivering contradicts itself with dubstep.

Its great that you love dubstep but the two just dont go in my opinion

Would def be interested and i fit the unsigned, unheard bracket. Got a few weeks b4 uni starts again, and my tracks are generally quite dark and atmospheric (i think anyway lol) ...... follow this link its unmastered at the mo until its needed :) ...........http://soundcloud.com/cynical-outlook/twisted-nature

lol @ your creativity(or apparent lack of)
We are not trying to "fit" with anything. I respect your opinion, but I think you crush true creativity when you put shit in boxes like that. I know dubstep is the unexpected choice, thats why we're doing it. Son, sit back, watch and learn. If you only do whats expected you'll never stand out.
Now to defend the choice: We know its at contrast to the setting. If you know anything about art, contrast is a major principal to good art. Also, the choice of dubstep also has to do with the rythmn of our gameplay. Brutal combos drive brutal mixing.
