HELP....Does anybody know of any uk music festivals that are busting at the seams with grime and dubstep?

I've heard Glade might have a few dubstep peeps playin, if it goes ahead...

I think Glade will have a healthy amount, although their license is yet to be granted (they've had problems with their application).
Bestival had a bit last year (Skull Disco boys, Mystikz, Skream & Kode 9), but they were let down by poor sound apparently.

Some festival in Belgium does dubstep.
Plastician was there last year with skpeta, jme and a few other heads...

Detonate will be doing a one day indoor festival - 8/9 arenas.. over 4000 capacity. The Dubstep room will be large, I promise u that.

chek out global gathering, i cant remember exactly the dubstep line up, but mystiks are there amongst a few others.....plus the live acts are wicked this year and include THE PRODIGY,

less of an out and out festival, bit more like an arts or film festival, but a festival nonetheless

Chill by day
Dubstep by night
DMZ stage
FWD stage
Redstar stage
Dubwarz stage
Subdub stage....
Then i woke up...

btw, has anyone organized open-air dubstep parties? i'm interested how the bass acts withou roof above its head. i.e. - aren't the losses of bass too remarkable?

yeh was wonderin just that earlier this mornin... all it takes is gettin a soundsystem that'll play dubstep on the... line up, innit? what do they have to do, apply to the council or summat?

i've tried sorting out a system for the last coupla years but always failed. The application has to be in really early (about now), which I missed in previous years, and since my friends have moved out of their Notting Hill pad I don't know anyone who'll let me stick a rig in their front garden.
