Problems with massive need help.

I am having 2 issues with massive and have tried to understand why they are happening but so far havent and was wondering if someone could possibly shed some light on this.
1) Any time a note SLIGHTLY overlaps the next bar (in the piano roll on FL) the midrange sound changes. not a completely different sound change, but its fairly noticeable usually louder or quieter on the midrange specifically. and sometimes the sound actually does change its dynamics completely. but not as often.
2) this next problem only happens on tunes that i have worked on for a long time and have tons of processing on multiple channels. the sub-bass on massive gets very quiet and doesnt sound at all like it did when i started. its almost like it just disapears and cannot be brought back unless i open a new instance of massive.
Any help would be apreciated

Are you quite sure those are problems caused by cracked copies?

no, but if you buy it NI support team are very helpful.

i'm not exactly sure what you are trying to describe. without seeing your patch there's nothing any of us can do to help. are you using presets? i suspect that the best solution to your problem is to continue to learn more about synthesis.

I have a similar problem (it's a legit version!)
If i have a loop going on in Live and the midi clip inside the loop touches the loop bracket on the right then Massive does some weird Glide/release thing... if i zoom right in as far in as i can get and pull it back just a touch it seems to fix it. No idea what causes it.

Couldn't you just make it so that notes don't overlap?

is it set to poly mono or monorotate?
is it set on legatos?

Your first 'problem' is glide. When the notes overlap, any note changes will be glided between instead of a sharp change, depending on the setting. This would result in a percieved change of pitch. Go into the OSC tab and you will find the glide time knob, if you want to eradicate that just turn it all the way to the left.
Your sub problem I am not too sure about, but I have had problems with Massive in terms of sub before. Best advice I can give is don't use Massive for a sub. It's a tremendous waste of resources, any synth can output a simple sub bass. I would have said it may be due to having too much going on at the low end but you mentioned it rectified itself when you opened a new instance, so that's just a bit weird.
Anyway, hope that helped.

It would lose the flow though innit

You said your sub loses volume when you add a lot of things, try eqing the other things to make sure they're not taking up the same frequencies that your sub needs.

i would agree to this, except the massive Sine Shaper/Para Shaper/Hardclipper insert effects does wonders with soft slight distortion on a deep sine (or tri even) sub. Keep D/W more towards dry and try er out. Takes a half hour at the very most to make a good sub, sooo...
Just freeze clip/channel and copy the bit to new audio track bing bang boom, use that massive for somethin else now.

r u talking about glide, non working issues? or about the sound slightly changing as in, phase variation..
if ur talking about phase... just go to the osc tab and enable the restart via gate button.. see how it goes
