Im having trouble making a LFO modulated bass sound. I cant figure out where the filter is on this sun of a bych, (or rather i think i did but i dont have an idea on how to use it.) Some help on this would be very much appreciated. (Maybe a simple walkthrough?). Thanks all :)

Route the ops to op z instead of the output. Modulate the amp level for op z via the LFO (or draw a loop envelope if you want to be adventurous) and then increase the Env Amt knob until you have the desired effect.

You can also get similar effects with subtle differences by making a relatively harmonic-free sound and using an op to modulate it with the modulation osc amplitude controlled by the LFO

Yea dood thats what i meant by i think i figured it out. I dont know why but i tried a bunch of different ways to route it and i cant output through z. Can you take a screenshot of what it should look like routed? Thanks for the help man :)

oh yeah make sure you have actually got the lfo 1 amp mod to something that isn't zero or the filter won't modulate

Thanks a bunch man! Also, is there a way to keep the lfo synced so it doesnt go faster at a higher pitch? And how can i use the envelope like you said to mod the cutoff?

thought that was the default lfo behaviour. dunno, look in the manual. to use an envelope to mod - draw an envelope and turn up env mod. Not that hard really. Have you read the manual? It is worth it.

Under the LFO 1 Section in Mod view

U have all the LFO 1 controls.

Rate : the speed (can be synced or not, for some reason, i cant get it to do triplets yet)

Delay : the attack of the lfo is delayed... so ull have ur filter non-lfo'd first... and then the lfo will come in and get some filter action going

Key Scale **** : that is why ur rate changes with every key, that function spreads lfo value incrementations over the keyboard so different keys will be associated with discrete lfo rates.... if you put it to zero, the rate will be constant for any note (what u wanted i guess)

Vel Scale : same as key scale but with velocity values
