There's this bloke who lives in the village down the road, I am not sure how old he is but I'd hazard a guess and say '50 odd'. He never really talks to anyone, drives about in an old MoD land rover, wears vintage British army clothing from WWII, often carries a 303 rifle that I presume has been deactivated and paraboots. He's called Kenny and I am pretty sure he never wears anything else. You'd have thought that his house would be immaculate if he's into the military, but no... it's an utter dump, no curtains, looks like he just lives in one part of it as the rest of the windows are so filthy, there's various bits of decommissioned military clobber rotting and rusting away in his huge unkempt garden.
There's a few more too but I'll keep them for later; the best oddballs I lived nearby were the ones in Stokie and Southsea. Has anyone seen the bloke who stands in Stokie high street barking at the traffic but is uber friendly, sometimes wears a white suit with a top hat, looks proper dapper with his dreads and tophat, like some New Orleans dirge but he is fucking mental

We have an old woman who just walks up and down our culdesac repeatedly for hours, wearing some horrible glasses and long skirt with tights under it. While holding an umbrella.
This might not seem odd, but this is in ANY weather.

There's a proper weird guy who can be seen mincing round Crediton with a handbag. usually in very short pink shorts. He's fucking strange as a person. He's been banned from the local swimming pool and I've heard stories of people staying at a B&B only to wake up with him stood staring at them
ok not local, but probably the best oddball ive ever seen
on saturday, coming out of hardware, we met this guy in a suit, retardedly huge top hat, huge gold cross chain, and to top it off, carrying a can of k.
my man was going on about ALLSORTS. firstly his payment for all his shit (including his ferrari and labourghini round the corner) was down to winning the lottery, then going on about how hes stolen multiple police cars, and each of his stories would go on a slight tangent, and then never return to the original one.
after he left us he then proceeded to dance in the middle of the road, then puttin a one of those white traffic bollard things made of plastic on his head.
it was a treat to be in his near vacinity, but i dont know if i could have handled him much longer.
the rest of that morning was just an occurance of strange events and stranger people.

on the first big SNH bike ride, there was some dude dressed as a cat playing with the traffic, THC yelled at him catching his attention and he then legged it.

He wouldn't be the same guy who also used to wear a leather safari suit and leather explorers hat in either white grey or khaki would he?.Always used to wear leather gloves all the time as he was paranoid about touching anything, used to drink in the Rochester Castle a lot and would always bring his own glass which he'd carefully wipe clean everytime the barmaid refilled it.Also remember the guy that lived on Amhurst Rd{I think] who would stand outside his house and randommly shout "Fuck All The Money!" at passing strangers.he was also obsessed with Sci-fi and would[if you didn't walk past fast enough] grab you and get to you help him re-enact his favourite strip from that weeks issue of 2000AD.

We've got these two guys, yellowman and redman.
Yellowman, wears all yellow, has painted his house yellow, and has a yellow Mercedes Benz.
I was once putting air in the tires of my car, and he comes up and starts filling a propane tank with compressed air, mind you the fittings are polar opposites.
He is telling me this grandeur tale about how he is taking his daughter, (Brittany Spears) out on his yacht and points behind him to a truck with an empty boat trailer in tow.
Redman is a bit more elusive. He is a drifter that wears all red, and rides a red beach cruiser everywhere.
I've seen him in the pub and on back roads. Never had a chance to speak with him though.

There's some weird, really tall skinny guy, that wears skintight leather leopard print trousers and never has a top on that just seems to cycle about on a weird bike with weird handlebars. He's generally just pretty weird looking.

Oh my god, there's a Yellowman near me too, except I once saw him getting out of a blue car, which clashed horribly with his mustard suit and tie.
There's also Look Right Mike, who, yes, looks right all the time and repeatedly asks me how to iron bacon.

There's an old guy in the town near me who drove a car covered in crisp packets, his name was Mr Crisps. He's dead now though
Standard Jesus fanatic who wonders various towns pushing a pram with a sign saying "CHRIST WILL SAVE US" on it, how he moves said pram from town to town is a mystery to me.
Some mental vigilante puppeteer in Norwhich:
He's safe as fuck though, heard he sometimes gets booked by clubs in the local area.

We got a guy down here in Dover, hes about 70 or so, wears oldschool blitz gear and wonders the streets with a pair of yellow washing up gloves picking up rubbish and mumbles when you walk past him, got a crazy look in his eye to.
Kieth likes to run everywhere, talk about pokemon and always talks about going to meet a guy called Mike Thornby (who died in a car crash ten years ago, its presumed thats what sent him off the rails).

Once met this guy at a friends house warming party, the new age hippy type, said he used to work for Greenpeace and stuff. Seemed a relatively alright chap at the time.
Next time I see him he is wearing a long pink dress, flowers in his hair, make up, ear rings and I swear I saw the outlines of a bra. He was sat outside a pub talking to this guy about how Bob Dylan is the best musician to have ever lived.
pics soon to follow...
