Why do you need a new synth? Most synths are broad enough they can create virtuallyany sound you can think of. Be bet is to just pick one and learn it.

Atlantis, Elektro, n the DSK pad synth thing are all very recommended though.

Particularly atlantis. it boreders on like...n.i. quality.

it was on a "no-brainer" deal and I picked it up for $20.00

I am pretty sure a few of the regular posters caught that deal

but $185 still isn't that much money if you are serious about music

I use sylenth for any warm type sound I want. It's also a relatively simple synth vst so it's very easy to get to grips with the entire suite.

Alchemy looks awesome (just checked it out now) been looking for something like that :D

keep in mind that if you have ableton's analog you already have the plugin, its the same engine redone as a ableton native plug

Been playing a lot with vintage emulation synths recently (since I can't afford the real things haha) impOScar, LittleOne, korg have some too I think, but I haven't been able to find anywhere to buy them yet :( .

Gonna check this out because I had so many problems with Tal-Elec7ro on a mac (2 different models), but it's such a good synth so keen to see if this new one fixes the problems.
