This is for my nerdy gamer type folks. Final Fantasy XIV is coming out. If you plan to play or are interested the game crew I play with are open to adding more members. FFXIV comes out on September 22nd for pre-orders and Sept 30th worldwide. You're more than welcome to come check it out and join up with us. I might play it, is it gonna be like £9 a month . Might just buy 30 days to test it out.

After playing the first FF MMO and having to go through the extremely long updating process and registering process as well as sketch method of entering my billing info, just to uninstall it after a week of playing it.....I'm not touching that son of a bitch with a ten foot pole.

If I will get sucked back into an MMO my money is going to blizzard again once cataclysm is released.

Havn't touched an FF game since XII. *Shudders*

re-purchased WoW yesterday haha, so easy to gear up now 3/5 T9 in a day. Feel like sucha looser again

Bump, I caved and got it yesterday. Doing install now, will be on Rabanastre with a bunch of old gaming buddies and a few real life ones.

Nerp, playing LOTRO at the moment. Bastards still haven't started the free-2-play in europe yet though. Not that I was gonna go F2P. But still.

You know what i am a die hard final fantasy fan but i think i might give 14 a miss. 13 was just good, , thats it , , good. i've been waiting for a super banger for long now. 10 was the last one. 8 is my fav. i'll most likely get versus when it comes out but i think as far as mmo's go i'm hyped about dc universe yyeeaa

If that doesn't work out, give City of Heroes a shot. The recent new expansion (Going Rogue) was amazing - some next level story arcs where you have to make some serious moral choices (e.g. terrorism vs dictatorship).

i have'nt heard that much about city of heroes. pc only right? the draws of dc universe are mad to me tho. i really like that it is going to be on ps3 for one although i hear it's going to be like £15 a month also the prospect of having my own individual charachter in that universe is mouthwatering cos i try to keep up with the story's (big up flash lol)
saying that tho i won't invest too much because when it's crap i'll be slightly heart broken lol
