I live in Preston, always found it difficult to find anywhere to play other than occasional nights people put on. Yeh its a shame about method, theyve started putting on nights at lava now, had Doctor P on last week and Sukh Knight and P Money a month or so ago. Aint so bad.

Funky shoes, yea i heard that method was pretty off the chain sometimes but its a shame that its been closed down. I've already been booked to play one of my Electro/Fidget sets on the 16th at the assembly for freshers week.

Also seen doctor P was hittin up preston soon or has that ship long sailed? Either way its going to be better than where i am currently living. No scene, no clubs, too many drugs lol.

The dubsquid has stretched its tentacles far and wide I'm sure it'll have touched Preston in some capacity.

Failing that jump on a train to Manc.... Warehouse Project, regular nights at Sankeys, Sound Control, Music Box, Mint Lounge etc etc.

I'm in the Lancaster area, and I think it's an area that's got potential. People always go nuts when dubstep comes on later in the night. The scene is definitely growing, I'm starting a new Dubstep/Electro night there soon, with Inspector Dubplate DJing on our first night. Anyone from this sort of area do any DJing? If the night grows I'd always be looking for local talent.

I've heard a few people say sankeys went quite gash after it got voted best club scene in the UK. Too many scene kids is what i get told by my friends who are producing down there.

Yea played a set in Preston during my freshers week at Assembly and to be honest played a big mix coz had like 20/30 come up with me, so when i droped the dubstep people were throwin some crazy shapes. Pretty glad to see on a flyer somewhere Crissy Criss, Equ and Chimpo are going to be playing on the 1st so deffinatley might have to pop down for that one! ={D
