It seems that people are from fairly diverse musical backgrounds here, so I thought it might be interesting to see where different people are coming from.
Let's see what people are making other than Dubstep. Or what they made before Dubstep.
Here's some of my stuff:
Bleed is TB303 abuse. Kinda slowed down Acid Techno, down at an EBM pace with more of an Industrial/Aggrotech stomp to it. It's fairly brutal and the kids like it. I still need to dig out the silver box for a Dubstep track.

Machine Test is part of a series of mechanical Techno tracks I've been working on forever. They're made up of real machinery samples that I record out in the field. This series is where Machine Phase was born from.

I guess I still favour production to be rough and dirty and under produced rather than clean and pristine. I spent way too much time listening to Throbbing Gristle and Cab Voltaire and love that sound.

I've recently been to a couple of Dubstep nights and am absolutely in love. My non Dubstep trax are on myspace- they're kinda
- Glitch, Chill, Breakcore, trip hop, Electronica type tunes.
Link is in my sig
I like the sense of atmosphere in Machine test one- then that tune really gets banging !

Used to make: Drum and Bass, ambient electronic stuff, dunno what to call it really! (Would like to do more of this, but never seem to have the time)
Still make a bit of random grimier stuff as well, but not much of it is up to scratch yet.

Cheers for the links!
oceanzen - Liking the glitch, mate.
Unreachable thought and Existence are nice. I love things that seem to verge on chaos and feel like they're going to fall over but never do. Like Punk drumming.
Cheers- I've got to get Test one finished some day.
ikonika - Some of that production sounds like the stuff coming out of Germany. Has a distinctive sound.
Janner - Liking Man Come Man Go and particularly Busted. Moving shadow, eh? Loved that label back in the day.

primarily weird silly tunes, i dunno what genre some of the shit i make is. i do attempt some serious dnb and hip hop tunes though. im looking to focus on dubstep now, recently discovered it and it seems like a nicely diverse genre that i want in on

Good to check out what everyones making, some excellent stuff being written.
Ambient electronica, and the odd electro track when I come up with a nice jumping melody. Never put any of my stuff on the net though, just pure personal use. Might do one day, get some opinions.

Over the years:
Played in punk,2 Tone style ska,Deathrock/Deathpunk/Batcave-y/Goth,Experimental Noise, and dark Shoegaze/4AD style bands.(Still do it,just by myself.

)
Later began to experiment with Ambient Dub using Casios, tapes, two stereo systems, guitar, bass, popcorn tins, ocarinas,Tupperware, scratched up CDs,chopsticks, and LOADS of effects.
Got my first computer about 7 years ago and began to use it as another instrument, thus doing more electronica.I do a lot of IDM,Glitch,Experimental DnB,Dub,Digidub,Dubstep,Deep Dub House,Electro,a very wee bit of Progressive House,Noise,Ambient,a little Downtempo, some Hip Hop,Trip Hop,and Industrial.
And I am also guilty of doing a bit of Acid and Techno...
