Doubt you can get a set of 1210s in a good condition for < 700$. Anyway I've got Reloop tables and I'm pretty happy
about them, maybe that's an option. But if you can find Technics in your price range I would grab them.
I don't know a whole lot about mixers but I wouldn't save money on one because it's delicate stuff.

I'd look into some used stantons if I were you. I did my research and ended up getting some used str8-80's for dirt cheap. Haven't gotten to use them yet but I'm excited

I tend to hate "controllers", but not gonna lie, that looks sexy.
However, offering it as an alternative to turntables won't fly :p

you're better off spending a little more and getting 1210's. they'll last you a lifetime.

Sorry if this upsets anyone but those decks are
awful man. The Stantons are gimmicky and badly made. I cant stress how bad they are...... A friend of mine got a pair recently and has had to send them back three times now because of various faults.
2nd hand Technics are easily do able for $700 (about £350) I recently got a set of 1210 Mk2's for £250 and they are just as good as the day the day they rolled out of the factory. Properly looked after they will last a lifetime.
The mixer is a bargin though, cant go wrong with Allen and Heath. Top quality pieces of kit.

A few people I know use them and they've had no problems whatsoever with their ones?

If you can find used 1210's for that price - great.
If not - go for Numarks.

I used TT1625 Numarks for about 4 years.
Incredible. They were pretty good for what I paid!

I'd get Numark TT500's, they have the same features and better torque than the Technics and are really sturdy. They are also cheaper which is a nice bonus. I've used both Technics and Numark TT500's (I own the numarks) and I honestly prefer the Numarks!

Selling my vci 100 tommorow and getting a pair of 1200s and 1210s instead, I didn't know whether to or not then realised it's a shit hot move. Just gotta start a whole new tune collection on wax, wish i'd started earlier!
And in relation to topic pairs of 1200s/1210s are generally going for around £250 - £400. I even saw a pair go for a £100 a while back, total robbery

The first pair of 1200s I ever bought was in 1992 and they were in a pawn shop with the coffin for $100. That's right, 2 1200s, and a coffin for $100.
